Ben Atkinson


Ben Atkinson is an author, broadcaster and digital designer. Ben has written two novels to date and is currently working on a third, alongside finishing a travelogue about his travels in the USA at the turn of the decade. Ben has presented a Country Music programme on UK radio since 2008 and is a member of the Country Music Association of America.

In January 2016, Ben graduated from the University of Lincoln with a Master of Arts degree in Digital Media and before that studied Media Production at the University from 2010 to 2013, graduating with a First Class BA(Hons) Degree and the award for Outstanding Contribution to the Lincoln School of Media. Ben has worked with a wide range of national and international clients in the media industry, performing arts, small-business and beyond.

Since 2008, Ben has presented a weekly two-hour country music programme, Ben's Country Music Show, broadcast on stations throughout the UK. In that time he has interviewed a wide range of UK and American artists and continues to write academic essays on a series of subjects within the genre.
